As reported by PANews, the BIO Association, a Swiss non-profit established by prominent members of VitaDAO, has unveiled its community genesis initiative along with a fair token launch. This initiative enables participants to purchase BIO tokens using ETH or other DeSci tokens ahead of the BIO Protocol’s official launch. The organization aims to create a decentralized biotechnology network and establish an on-chain science community that connects the fields of biotechnology and cryptocurrency. Currently, the BIO network includes eight specialized scientific communities dedicated to areas such as longevity, women’s health, neurodegenerative conditions, and synthetic biology. The initial public fundraising round for the BIO Protocol was conducted in August, successfully raising over $5 million, with plans to launch on the Ethereum mainnet.
