dYdX to Shut Down V3 Version on October 28, 2024
According to Odaily, decentralized derivatives trading platform dYdX has announced that it will close its v3 version on October 28, 2024, at 20:05 (UTC+8). Until then, the v3 exchange will function normally, but users are encouraged to close their positions and withdraw USDC as soon as possible. After October 30, users will have the ability to withdraw the full value of their accounts, including any open positions, from the Ethereum smart contract. dYdX has assured users that their funds will remain safe and can be withdrawn indefinitely from the smart contract.
This closure specifically affects v3 users, while other versions, including dYdX Chain (v4), will not be impacted. Additionally, dYdX plans to redirect resources toward the development of the Unlimited version, which is slated for release this fall.
