Gate.MT CEO Advocates for Accelerated Web3 Adoption in Italy
During the CryptoRoma conference in Rome on September 21, Giovanni Cunti, CEO of Gate.MT, delivered a keynote speech calling for the rapid adoption of Web3 technology in Italy. His address ignited engaging discussions and garnered positive feedback from attendees.
Cunti reflected on the 15-year evolution of Web3, emphasizing the significant opportunities and innovative potential within Rome’s burgeoning Web3 ecosystem. He interacted with the audience about the progress of local Web3 initiatives and shared insights on how Italy can position itself as a leader in this global technological wave.
“I am pleased to see the growing interest in Web3 technology in Italy,” Cunti remarked. “By sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration, we can expedite the adoption of Web3, unlock more innovation opportunities, and stimulate economic growth in Europe.”
Gate.MT aims to be a key player in driving Web3 innovation across Europe. Cunti noted that while current adoption rates are low, the potential for development is substantial. The company is committed to providing secure and compliant services to advance the Web3 ecosystem.
As the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulatory framework approaches, Gate.MT is actively preparing to expand its operations throughout the European Economic Area, with a strong focus on compliance and security. Registered in Italy since February 2024, Gate.MT has held regulatory approval from the MFSA in Malta since 2018. Cunti reaffirmed that Gate.MT is “fully committed to ensuring smooth compliance with MiCA regulations.”
