OpenPayd, a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) provider, has announced the hiring of two senior leaders from cryptocurrency broker FalconX, as reported by Odaily. Lux Thiagarajah will step into the role of Director of Growth, while Richard Usher will take on the position of Director of Trading. Both will retain advisory roles at FalconX, helping to further develop its foreign exchange trading division.

Thiagarajah previously held the position of Head of Commercial FX at FalconX and has also served as Chief Revenue Officer at BCB Group, a crypto payment firm. His background includes significant roles at leading investment banks, including JPMorgan Chase and HSBC. Usher, who led FX Trading at FalconX, has experience managing over-the-counter trading at BCB and has worked with institutions like JPMorgan Chase and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
