SRC20 Founder Voices Criticism of Fractal and Discusses OpenStamp Challenges

In a recent statement on the X platform, Mike In Space, the founder of SRC20, took a strong stance against the Fractal project, labeling it a ‘Shitcoin’ and asserting that it lacks the qualities of Bitcoin, a Bitcoin-like product, or any viable Layer 2 solution. His comments underscore a growing skepticism within the cryptocurrency community regarding the value and legitimacy of Fractal.

Adding to the controversy, the SRC20 initiative launched its OpenStamp project on Fractal just yesterday. However, the launch quickly ran into significant obstacles due to issues within the Fractal network. These technical difficulties disrupted the minting process, prompting the SRC20 team to pause all minting activities. In light of these complications, they have pledged to fully refund users whose transactions were unsuccessful, demonstrating a commitment to user satisfaction despite the setbacks.
