As reported by Odaily, the WalletConnect Foundation has issued a security advisory regarding a newly-identified scam involving a fake application that impersonated WalletConnect on the Google Play Store. The malicious app has been detected and taken down. In response, WalletConnect reiterated that it does not maintain an official app and encouraged users to stay vigilant against potential frauds.
