Dinari Joins Blockchain Association to Advance Tokenized Securities Policy

Dinari, a provider of tokenized securities infrastructure, has become a member of the Blockchain Association to contribute expertise on regulated tokenized assets to US policy discussions.

The company operates dShares, a platform offering 1:1-backed tokenized versions of US stocks and exchange-traded funds. Each token represents direct ownership rights, including dividends and corporate actions, with custody held by licensed entities. Dinari also maintains registrations as an SEC transfer agent and FINRA member broker-dealer.

The Blockchain Association said Dinari’s experience will help inform regulatory frameworks for tokenized securities. Association chief executive Summer Mersinger highlighted the value of practical input on blockchain-based capital markets. Dinari chief executive Gabriel Otte emphasized preserving existing investor protections and market trust during technological transitions.

Dinari is developing the Dinari Financial Network to connect regulated participants across issuance, trading, custody and settlement. The system supports 24/7 trading, fractional shares and stablecoin settlement while maintaining traditional compliance obligations.

The membership occurs amid growing competition in tokenized equities. Platforms including Robinhood and Base are advancing their own models, with varying approaches to direct ownership versus derivatives structures. Dinari has partnered with entities such as Gemini, BitGo and VanEck on tokenized products and indices.
