Ripple Prime has secured four nominations in the Prime Broker of the Year categories at the Hedgeweek US Awards 2026, reflecting its expansion into institutional financial services.
The platform earned recognition in client service, technology, specialist markets and start-up and emerging managers. Public voting will determine winners ahead of the awards ceremony scheduled for October 8 in New York.
The nominations follow Ripple’s $1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road in October 2025, which established the prime brokerage operation. Ripple Prime now clears more than $3 trillion annually and serves over 300 institutional clients across digital assets, foreign exchange, precious metals, derivatives and fixed income.
The business provides portfolio financing, risk-based margin and multi-asset access. It has added connections to trading venues such as EDX Markets and secured a financing facility of up to $200 million from Neuberger Berman to support margin services.
Ripple Prime forms part of Ripple’s broader institutional offerings, complementing payments, custody and stablecoin services. The company continues to integrate the acquired brokerage operations into its overall strategy.
