Binance is launching an Express Interest Only mode on its Capital Connect portfolio marketplace, which connects professional trading teams with institutional investors. The new feature allows trading teams to showcase performance data in a compliant, view-only format while enabling investors to evaluate strategies prior to potential investment.

In this mode, investment subscription and redemption functions remain disabled. Investors may submit non-binding expressions of interest, with trading teams receiving anonymized notifications of demand. Access is restricted to whitelisted, verified professional investors who meet the platform's qualification standards. EIO listings will carry a dedicated badge and display key metrics including multi-period returns, risk indicators, net asset value history and portfolio holdings.

The mode targets trading teams that have not yet obtained necessary licenses for external offerings. It is available for an initial period of six months, with the possibility of a three-month extension upon review. Teams are expected to secure licensing and maintain a 30-day active track record before transitioning portfolios to full investment status.

The Capital Connect portfolio detail page has also been updated with enhanced performance metrics, composition data and trading team information for both active and Express Interest Only listings.
