Zilliqa suspended deposits and withdrawals of its ZIL token across partner exchanges after a security incident at one of those platforms resulted in the theft of tokens from a cold wallet. The company took the measure on July 20 to block any potential movement or sale of the stolen funds.
The incident is under active investigation. Zilliqa notified all partner exchanges to implement the suspension as a precaution. It said it would issue further updates once details are verified and advised users to consult only official channels for information.
